“Colten Bear first took up the fiddle at the age of eight on September 2nd, 2009, playing at the Prince Charles Elementary School. Within a year of starting to play, Colten entered the 2010 St. Albert Métis Spring Festival fiddle contest. After hearing his fellow competitors and the professional fiddlers and musicians, he instantly felt the emotions and the power of the music!”
